Free shipping to shelters. ConstructionAll basic pieces are made of layered 100% cotton, soft batting, and cosy fleece for warmth, sturdiness, and sheer beauty. Your bedding rarely has exposed seams, but when they're there, they're closely trimmed by hand, and overstitched. The self-fabric loops I use are the sturdiest and most reliable I've tried, and they coordinate best, too. (Grommets also available.) For summer and for travel, I also offer bedding made of double layers of heavy-duty flannel. Still fuzzy, cosy, and very durable, it's not as warm or bulky as the regular bedding, making it ideal for packing or warm weather. My guys use it here in the New Mexican high desert summer! (Remember that air conditioning is essential in very hot weather! Fans only help animals that sweat--not ferrets. And lightweight bedding is nice, but it won't do the whole job!) Please be aware that some ferrets are sensitive to perfumes and dyes used in many detergents, as well as to softening oils used in fabric softeners and dryer sheets. Crinkle mats and some of the stuffed toys are filled with bubble wrap, plastic bags, or food-grade waxed paper. These should be washed and dried very carefully, without heat.Other critters love it, too!I've donated to rat shelters, too. And the rattie owners say their sweeties love my stuff.
